Onni Capital in Vancouver is seeking a Venture Studio Analyst to help take ideas from problem definition through research, validation, modelling, prototyping, and revenue-ready launch.

You will interview users and stakeholders, size markets, build financial models, define product roadmaps, and present investment or launch recommendations to senior leadership. This role provides exposure to company building and investment decision making.

Qualifications

• Interest in business, engineering, economics, or a related field.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to connect customer problems to viable models.
• Strong financial modelling and Excel skills to build from a blank sheet.
• Demonstrated ability to use modern AI tools for research, prototyping, and automation.
• Working technical literacy: APIs, data structures, SQL, scripting, or quick learning ability.
• Clear written communication and ability to present to executives without jargon.

Responsibilities

• Build and launch new businesses from problem definition to live product with revenue.
• Interview internal stakeholders, customers, and end users to understand workflows and needs.
• Translate requirements into clear product specifications for designers and developers.
• Rapidly prototype products, tools, and automations using AI-assisted platforms.
• Develop business cases with market sizing, pricing, costs, and investment needs.
• Present findings and investment cases directly to senior leadership.
