Job summary

British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) invites motivated undergraduates to join the Venture & Growth team as a co-op/intern for Summer 2027 or Fall 2027 & Winter 2028. You will screen investment opportunities, perform financial analysis, and support portfolio optimization in a fast-growing, world-scale environment in Victoria, BC.

The role offers mentorship, networking, and potential term extensions.

Qualifications

• Undergrad program in business, mathematics, computer science or technology.
• Strong work ethic with initiative.
• Interest in venture capital and growth equity.
• Prior internship experience in related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen live investment opportunities and summarize market intelligence.
• Perform financial analysis and assist with investment memoranda.
• Review and analyze quarterly information for portfolio investments.
• Support portfolio development by testing new applications.
• Conduct sector research and assist with special projects.
