Job summary

British Columbia Investment Corporation (BCI) is seeking an Investment Services co-op/intern for Winter & Summer 2027 (Jan–Aug) to support Investment Operations projects and analytics. You will learn trade workflows, assist with process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment in Victoria, BC.

In-person work is required with some capacity for one day per week from home; travel allowances and volunteering days are available, with competitive bi-weekly

Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of business and investment concepts.
• Clear and concise written and spoken communication.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual knowledge of trade workflows in investment operations.
• Troubleshoot and enhance existing workflows and workbooks used daily.
• Build collaborative relationships with Investment Operations and other departments.
• Develop knowledge of internal systems used by the department and BCI.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the team.
