Job summary

Intact Financial Corporation in Canada is seeking a detail-oriented Vendor Management Analyst to join our Tech+Lab Expense & Vendor Management team. Reporting to the IT Business Office, you will manage vendor relationships, drive contract savings, and support governance forums for strategic IT decisions across the vendor portfolio.

You will lead renewal pipelines, prepare executive review materials, analyze contracts for cost savings, maintain Power BI dashboards, and contribute to policy

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business, Finance & Accounting, or IT is required.
• Minimum 3+ years in vendor management, strategic sourcing, or IT expense management.
• Advanced Excel and Oracle ERP proficiency is required.
• Power BI experience is an asset.
• Experience supporting executive governance forums or preparing materials for senior leadership review.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of cost savings.
• Familiarity with contract management, SLA frameworks, and negotiation strategies.
• Interest in AI-powered tools for contract analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a contract renewal pipeline and plan renewals 3–6 months ahead.
• Prepare and present renewal packages and negotiation strategies for executive review.
• Drive cost savings and spend optimization by analyzing vendor contracts.
• Maintain the Power BI dashboard with spend, renewal timelines and metrics.
• Conduct AI-assisted contract reviews to surface opportunities before renewals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align vendor strategies with business goals.
• Lead executive reporting and presentations for VP and Director stakeholders.
• Develop and improve vendor management policies and SOPs.
• Serve as escalation point for disputes and delivery issues across teams and vendors.
