Job summary

Strive Health is seeking a Vendor Manager to lead vendor relationships from sourcing to renewal, driving cost-efficient processes and contract execution. You will collaborate with Legal, Finance and Operations to set standards, manage onboarding, and ensure compliant, streamlined vendor operations.

The role requires strong negotiation, data-driven decision making, and the ability to travel 5–10% for relationship building with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operational vendor management or equivalent.
• Proven track record in new vendor contracting, implementation and relationship ownership.
• Background in cost reduction strategies and operational efficiency improvements.
• Internet connectivity meets minimum specs and travel availability (5–10%).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, source and select vendors; negotiate contracts balancing cost, quality and risk.
• Set performance standards for vendors and hold them accountable.
• Manage ongoing vendor relationships across partners.
• Drive renewals/terminations with data-based recommendations.
• Act as main internal/external contact for vendors for onboarding and invoicing.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance and Ops to ensure compliance and standards.
• Execute vendor strategy and continuous process improvements to lower costs.
• Meet with stakeholders; travel may be required for in-person opportunities.
