Job summary

Halfords Garage Services seeks a skilled Vehicle Technician/Mechanic at our Grimsby Fusion centre. You will service, repair, and diagnose vehicles, including complex tasks like clutches and timing belts, with opportunities to advance in a growing automotive environment.

Key benefits include a base salary of £32,000–£34,000 with an uncapped bonus scheme up to £41,100 and potential average annual bonus of £7,100. We offer extensive leave, product discounts, and health and pension schemes.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing brakes, steering/suspension, engine, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repair/replacement work.
• Perform diagnostics for brakes, steering/suspension, engine.
• Handle complex repairs (clutches, timing belts) and electronic systems.
