Job summary

Clutch is seeking a Vehicle Inspector (Evening Shift) to join our reconditioning facility in Mississauga. You will inspect vehicles for damage and mechanical issues, report problems, and coordinate with reconditioning teams to maintain smooth vehicle flow.

The role requires a G2 license, strong attention to detail, and reliability for a Monday-Thursday, 4:30 PM–3:00 AM shift with a $1.50 per hour premium. Prior automotive experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: Post-secondary education preferred
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and teamwork
• License: Minimum G2 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
• Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Location: Ability to commute to Mississauga
• Availability: Able to commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming vehicles for damage, cleanliness, and mechanical issues.
• Identify and report problems that fall outside Clutch’s quality standards.
• Move, start, and park cars around the lot safely and efficiently.
• Track inspection results using checklists and digital tools.
• Collaborate with reconditioning, detailing, and mechanical teams to prioritize vehicle flow.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for minor vehicle issues.
• Keep work areas organized and follow all safety procedures.

About The Role

As we scale rapidly, we are looking for a Vehicle Inspector (Evening Shift) to join our reconditioning facility team. This role is ideal for someone dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Evening availability is required. The shift schedule is Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM, and includes a $1.50 per hour shift premium.
