Job summary

OPENLANE is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Inspection Specialist to perform on-site inspections at our ADESA Vehicle Logistics Centers. You will evaluate vehicles for wear, damage, and quality, using mobile inspection tools, OBD scanners, and paint meters, while adhering to safety standards.

You will receive initial and ongoing training to master industry practices, and contribute to accurate, high-quality vehicle presentations for auctions and clients.

Qualifications

• A strong work ethic; training provided.
• Motor vehicle/criminal background checks for all positions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Nice to have experience around vehicles or within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of industry best practices through initial and ongoing training.
• Assist in inspections and handle on-site inspection processes at ADESA Vehicle Logistics Centers.
• Represent the company to clients and ensure accurate vehicle presentation at auctions.
