Job summary

PrixCar Services in Minto is seeking a motivated Vehicle Accessory Fitter to join our automotive logistics team. You will fit and customize aftermarket accessories on a range of brand-new fleet vehicles, preparing them for delivery to customers.

A mechanical or auto-electrical background is desirable, but we will provide training and support to shape your career. You will work safely and accurately in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a driver\'s license.
• Strong attention to detail & safety-first mindset.
• Experience in the use of hand and power tools.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle a range of automotive parts and accessories (sports bars, bumper bars etc).

Responsibilities

• Safely manoeuvre vehicles in the compound and workshop.
• Perform fit-out (Customization) of vehicles as per plan and/or instructed.
• Fitting and wiring a range of vehicle accessories and equipment.
• Perform required quality checks and be accountable for the workmanship of performed work.
• Ensure that required records are completed accurately and submitted on time.

With more than 25 depots across Australia, we are ideally positioned to provide exceptional vehicle transport services to both individuals and OEM customers.

The Position

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Team Member to join our team based in Minto.

As a Vehicle Accessory Fitter, you will be working on a range of brand-new fleet vehicles. Fitting and customizing aftermarket accessories, to prepare vehicles for delivery to our customers.

A mechanical or auto-electrical background is desired; however, if you have a mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude and are keen to learn, we will provide the training and support to shape your career.

What You Will Do

• Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
• Perform fit-out (Customisation) of Vehicles as per plan and/or instructed
• Fitting and wiring a range of vehicle accessories and equipment
• Perform required quality checks and be accountable for the workmanship of performed work
