Job summary

PrixCar Services in Wishart is expanding its Vehicle Processing Team. As a Yard Hand, you will prepare new vehicles for delivery, fit aftermarket accessories, and perform storage preservation tasks.

You will work in a fast-paced environment at our new facility, with a focus on safety, attention to detail, and customer-ready presentation.

The role offers full-time hours, early starts, training programs, and opportunities to grow within the automotive logistics field.

Qualifications

• Driver license with minimum 3 years' experience.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset.
• Able to operate hand and power tools.
• Experience handling automotive parts and vehicle washing.
• Reliable, punctual and well-presented with good communication.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for damage and missing parts.
• Fit automotive accessories as required.
• Safely manoeuvre vehicles around the yard and workshop.
• Conduct vehicle surveys and preservation tasks.
• Wash vehicles and complete related documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and assist the team.

PrixCar Services is an automotive logistics company specialising in Vehicle Transport, Vehicle Processing and Storage, Fleet Conversions and Dealer Vehicle Storage. With more than 25 depots across Australia, we are ideally positioned to provide exceptional vehicle transport services to both individuals and OEM customers.

The Position

As a result of recent growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join our Vehicle Processing Team, at our brand new facility in Wishart. As a Yard Hand, you will enjoy a variety of tasks in preparing new vehicles for delivery. This may include fitting aftermarket accessories, checking vehicles for damage, completing storage preservation activities and other general yard duties. What You Will Do

• Inspection of vehicles to identify damage and missing parts or accessories
• Fit automotive accessories
• Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
• Undertake vehicle survey and preservation tasks
• Washing cars
• Complete associated documentation

What You Will Bring

• Driver license (min. 3 years) essential
• Strong attention to detail & safety first mindset
• Understand working of parts and components
• Experience in the use of hand and power tools
• Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to lift/handle automotive parts (sports bars, bumper bars etc.)
• Strong interest in the automotive industry
• Reliable, punctual, and professionally presented
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experienced in vehicle washing and presentation

Nice To Have

• Experience in vehicle accessory fitments
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude advantageous
• Current MSIC card
