Job summary

Odlum Brown Limited is seeking an experienced Vancouver Branch Manager to lead advisor operations and ensure regulatory compliance. You will oversee risk, supervision programs, and client service delivery while partnering with senior leaders to drive growth and operational excellence.

The role requires a strong leadership presence, knowledge of CIRO rules, and the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on supervision.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in branch leadership or advisory management in the Canadian wealth management industry.
• Completion or current enrollment in the CIRO Supervisor Exam.
• In-depth knowledge of Canadian securities regulations, particularly CIRO.
• Strong client-facing and relationship building capabilities.
• Solid understanding of advisor business models, operational needs, and client service delivery.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentorship skills.
• Excellent judgment, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Strong presentation and training skills, with the ability to facilitate best-practice sharing and connect operational enhancements to elevated client service.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational and supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support Investment Advisors and branch support team in Vancouver.
• Cultivate a collaborative, client-first culture aligned with the firm’s values and long-term strategy.
• Build trusted relationships with advisory teams; advise on business, compliance, and operations.
• Partner with Practice Management and Sales Leadership on onboarding, succession planning and talent development.
