Job summary

Stream-Flo Industries is seeking an Assembly Technician to quality-check valve components and participate in testing procedures. Your duties include assembling, stamping and testing parts, recording results and ensuring safety standards are followed.

Preferred candidates have assembly or warehouse experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with SAP. Forklift experience and computer skills are assets in a team-oriented, safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, stamp and test valve components in accordance with production order requirements.
• Hydrostatic body and seat testing and low-pressure air seat testing of finished valves.
• Ensure painting operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner.
• Identify non-conformances by separation and/or marking.
• Follow all work order, process traveler requirements and instructions, fill out job sheets or record time within SAP.
• Record information as required for tracking and traceability of finished product and component.
• Report all machine, forklift, crane and hoist problems in the proper maintenance logs and notify Lead Hand/Supervisor of a downtime situation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Key Position Functions Include

• Assemble, stamp and test valve components in accordance with production order requirements.
• Hydrostatic body and seat testing and low-pressure air seat testing of finished valves.
