Job summary

Davis Martindale LLP is a leading accounting firm in Southwestern Ontario seeking a candidate to join the Valuations team. You will develop expertise in business valuations, litigation support, transaction advisory and related analyses.

The role involves drafting reports, building financial models, and supporting client engagements with strong communication and analytical skills. Hybrid work setup available.

Qualifications

• Recent CPA or writing the CFE with intent to pursue CBV designation.

Responsibilities

Valuations offers exposure to a wide variety of businesses and assignments, including business valuations, litigation support, transaction advisory and other financial analyses.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Assist in drafting valuation and loss quantification reports including the preparation of tables, exhibits, and charts
• Create financial models based on business issues or transactions being analyzed
• Assist in drafting income determination reports
• Complete pricing analysis relating to purchase/sale of a business
• Participate in the development of client and industry presentations
• Assist with researching various economic, technical and industry specific issues

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Recent CPA (or writing the CFE in 2026) with the intent of pursuing the Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation
• Relevant work experience such as financial statement analysis is a must
• Possess strong verbal and written communication
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work individually or in small teams, lead engagements, and communicate with clients on an as needed basis
• Have an aptitude for business development activities

Salary Range:

$60,000 - $85,000

Starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
