Job description

Pathfind has an immediate opening with a well-established Public Practice Firm. They are seeking a collaborative Valuation Specialist. The Valuation Specialist will be responsible for providing business valuation and transaction advisory services to a variety of clients.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Preparation of business valuations, due diligence assignments, and financial analysis related to transactions, reorganizations, disputes, and tax filings.
  • Consulting with clients, client’s counsel, and company representatives.
  • Analyzing and interpreting clients’ financial and non-financial information.
  • Objectively identifying risks and opportunities that drive value.
  • Conducting industry research and analysis.
  • Understanding clients’ businesses and learning their best practices.
  • Providing strategic recommendations to clients.
  • Representing clients at networking and industry events to generate new business.
Education & Experience
  • CBV designation or enrolled and working towards CBV.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive professional accounting experience at a public practice firm.
  • Experience in preparing business valuation reports, due diligence, purchase price allocations, and financial models.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal documents.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring teams.

The salary range is $100,000 to $120,000, depending on experience.
