Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Validation Specialist role located in Mississauga, ON. The Validation Specialist will be responsible for performing and overseeing computer system validation and process validation. The role includes reviewing and implementing validation protocols and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational and process excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineering department to conduct hardware/product validation
• Develop test procedures for new product development
• Test initial prototypes and other special handling activities
• Support Production Test and Marketing departments
• Troubleshoot hardware and software components
• Perform firmware verification testing
• Create custom application-specific configurations for customers by having a clear understanding of product features

Qualifications

• Experience in Computer System Validation and Process Validation to support system reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as J1939, CANopen, LIN, Ethernet is considered an asset.
• Knowledge and hands‑on expertise in Validation processes for product and system qualification.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, or a related technical field is required.
• Experience in the manufacturing or technology industry is an asset.
