Job summary

Natural Factors Inc. is hiring a Validation Specialist in Coquitlam, BC to perform validation activities across processes, facilities, utilities, manufacturing and lab equipment. The role ensures compliance with Health Canada/FDA/TGA, QMS, GMP and 21 CFR Part 11, and executes IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.

Temporary full-time position with a contract end date of Aug 31, 2027. Typical hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm (flexible).

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of validation experience or participation in validation work
  • GMP industry experience in pharmaceutical or dietary supplement manufacture of solid dosage forms
  • Good analytical laboratory skills
  • Ability to work with computers (MS Office)
  • Knowledge of data governance and integrity regulations
  • Familiarity with ISPE Baseline Guide 5 (asset)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Coordinate with departments to develop and implement validation plans
  • Prioritize validation activities to meet compliance and business needs
  • Monitor the validation master plan, procedures and strategies
  • Ensure validation activities are conducted in a timely manner
  • Interact with Production, Maintenance, Engineering and Quality to plan and complete validation
  • Oversee validation testing for new products and process improvements
  • Review key documents and maintain validation documents
  • Participate in and review change controls for revalidation
  • Adhere to GMP, SOPs and Safety Policies

Responsibilities willincludethe execution of validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ).

Temporary Full-Time (40 hours); Contract until August 31, 2027

Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (flexible)

$57,000 – $71,500

In this role, you will:
  • Maintain andoperateequipment in a safe and efficientmanner
  • Coordinate with other functional departments to develop and implement validation test plans
  • Prioritize validation activities according to compliance and businessneeds
  • Coordinate projects and schedules;monitorprogress ofthe validation master plan,proceduresand strategies
  • Ensure validation efforts are conducted inan appropriateandtimelymanner
  • Interact with individuals from different disciplines (Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality) to plan, execute and complete validation activities,includingreports and corrective action items to ensuretimelycompletion
  • Oversee validation testing for new products and process improvements
  • Review all key documents developed and executed by applicable personnel
  • Maintain all validationdocuments
  • Participate in and review all change controls (CC) and evaluate for revalidationactivities
  • Adhere to Safety Policies (SPs), Goods Manufacturing Practices (GMP)and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
You have:
  • BachelorsDegreeinanappropriate science(Chemistry) or Engineering discipline
  • Validation experience or participation in validation work group activities(2+ years)
  • GMP industry experience in pharmaceuticalor dietary supplementmanufacture of solid dosage forms, in ahands‑ontechnical/analytical role
  • Good analytical laboratory skills
  • Ability to work with computers (specifically MS Office)
  • Knowledgeable about data governance and integrity regulations
  • Familiarity with ISPE Baseline Guide 5 (Second Edition) (an asset)
