Job summary

Semtech Canada is seeking a 12–16 month internship in Validation within the Signal Integrity Products Group (SIP) at the Ottawa Design Centre. You will work with product development teams locally and remotely to provide product validation and test automation support.

The internship focuses on learning through direct involvement, with progressively complex tasks as you grow, as part of Semtech’s Validation team. This role is an internship and part of our recruitment strategy.

Job Summary:

As a full member of our Validation group, you will be working with the product development teams both locally and remotely, providing product validation and test automation support. You will be provided the opportunity to learn from both our Validation and Design teams working with the leading-edge test and measurement tools and technologies.

This position is for a 12 – 16-month student Validation internship at Semtech Canada with the Signal Integrity Products Group (SIP) in our Ottawa Design Centre.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Python programming

• RF and high-speed digital (>10Gbps) measurement and debug skills
• Familiarity with automated data collection and automation coding using Python
