Job summary

Gray Collection in Montreal is seeking a courteous valet attendant to welcome guests, assist with luggage, and manage car parking with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. The role requires a year of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will escort guests, handle luggage, and coordinate with front-desk and bell desk teams while maintaining vehicle and pedestrian flow. Bilingual English/French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a similar position.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record (able to drive automatic and standard cars).
• Excellent customer service: approachable, pleasant, courteous, empathetic, fast acting.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that the sidewalk and hotel entrance are clean and safe (especially in winter)
• Park and retrieve guest cars, record licence plate numbers, match guest's names and room numbers
• Correctly identify stored bags and manage valet parking car key
• Bring luggage to guest rooms and retrieve them when requested
• Able to lift and carry 30-50 pounds
• Provide guests with an overview of room features
• Deliver mail; assist with receiving & delivering packages to guest rooms or to other departments
• Perform any other tasks which are assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS
