SUMMARY

About the Role– Valet Attendant

As a Valet Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, polished, and efficient operation of the driveway in close collaboration with the Door Attendant, Bell Attendant, and Front Desk team. You will warmly greet and assist Hotel Guests and Residents, providing quality, safe, and efficient valet service while delivering an exceptional and consistent experience aligned with Park Hyatt’s brand standards and Forbes 5-Star service expectations.

Some of the responsibilities include:

· Greet every guest and resident warmly and professionally, using their name whenever possible to personalize the experience.

· Efficiently park and retrieve valet vehicles with care and a sense of urgency, ensuring guests’ peace of mind.

· Use mobile devices (e.g., iPhone) for valet registration and retrieval requests, providing prompt and seamless service.

· Anticipate guest needs by offering assistance with directions, information about hotel services, and local attractions.

· Maintain the driveway, door, and entrance areas to Forbes 5-Star presentation standards—clean, orderly, and welcoming at all times.

· Open doors and assist guests entering and leaving the hotel with polished, professional body language and attention to detail.

· Liaise closely with Door Attendant, Bell Attendant, and Front Desk Agent to ensure smooth coordination and communication.

· Respond to guest inquiries, special requests, and service recovery situations with genuine care and prompt resolution.

· Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.

· Other duties as assigned to support the guest experience and operational needs.

Qualifications

· Must hold a valid Full G driver’s license and be able to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.

· Clean driver’s abstract must be provided upon selection.

· Flexible to work on a rotating 24/7 roster, including weekends and public holidays.

· Previous experience in a fast-paced hotel operations environment preferred.

· Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and guest service skills, with a commitment to creating memorable first impressions.

· Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task effectively.

· Ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a high-performing team.

· Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and able to maintain composure in a dynamic guest environment.

· Professional grooming and presentation in line with luxury hospitality standards.
