GFL - Sewer Technologies Division in Sparwood, BC is seeking a Class 1/3 Operator to join the Vacuum Truck Services team. The role covers spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, water hauling and material loading with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

This position includes day and night shifts within a 21 on/off or 14 on/off rotation for remote candidates. The successful candidate will operate vacuum equipment, comply with NSC requirements, and uphold high standards of client service and

Qualifications

• Industrial Vacuum Truck, Hydrovac and/or Combo Vac experience preferred.
• Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brakes and a clean Abstract; Class 1 an asset.
• Must operate a manual transmission.
• Flexible to after-hours call-outs.
• Safety tickets such as First Aid/CPR, CSTS, TDG and H2S Alive are assets.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate vacuum equipment in an industrial setting.
• Follow company policies and site requirements.
• Provide exceptional service to clients and represent GFL professionally.
• Complete daily pre-trips and logs for NSC compliance.
• Maintain detailed documentation to accompany work performed.
• Demonstrate commitment to environmental compliance.
• Participate in safety programs and job hazard assessments.
• Work independently while managing time and productivity.
• Additional duties as required.
