Job summary

McAfee is hiring a UX Research Apprentice for remote Canada, starting February 2027. You’ll work with the Consumer Products team on live projects, conducting user studies and integrating research into product designs. Hybrid role based in Canada.

You will learn design practices, measure impact, and make recommendations to improve our consumer products while collaborating across teams. Relocation is not provided.

Role Summary

McAfee is hiring a User Experience (UX) Research Apprentice beginning February 2027. This is a remote Canada role. You will be working on live projects with the Consumer Products team. You will work with the team on UX research on product designs, learn about our design practices, and make recommendations on how we can improve.

Position Details

As a User Experience (UX) Research Apprentice, you will strategically advance how McAfee ideates, builds, improves and measures its consumer products. Specifically, you will bring the power of empathy and data together to create extraordinary experiences that literally protect the world.

About The Role

• Design and conduct user studies to gauge the perception and usability of new and existing product features.
• Make concrete, data-driven recommendations for change based on your findings.
• Communicate with team members throughout the process.

About You

• Graduated by December 2026.
• Relevant work/project experience in an applied research setting including but not limited to integrating user research into product designs and design practices.
• Knowledge of statistics and the principles of experiment design.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools to do user research
• Relocation assistance is not provided.

This is a Hybrid position based in Canada. When you are not working on-site, you will be working from your home office. We are only considering candidates based in Canada and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

Pay Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is CAD $50,345.00/Yr. - CAD $68,115.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
