The City of Victoria is hiring a Utility Operations Coordinator to play a key role in maintaining and improving the infrastructure that delivers safe and reliable water, wastewater, and stormwater services to our community. In this technical and collaborative position, you’ll help plan maintenance programs, analyze utility data, support asset management initiatives, and coordinate work that keeps essential services operating efficiently.
You’ll work closely with operations staff, engineers, contractors, and the public to develop practical solutions, support long-term infrastructure planning, and contribute to the sustainable management of critical municipal assets.

Provide technical direction, input and support for the water distribution, sanitary and storm sewer collection systems through inspections, condition assessment, rehabilitation, and lifecycle analysis with an asset and maintenance management focus.
Work is generated through annual programs and objectives or is assigned by the supervisor.
Work is reviewed through reports and meetings with the supervisor.
Issues such as unusual or complex problems, and budgetary items are discussed with supervisor with recommendations.
