The Utility (Mechanical) Supervisor oversees the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems such as compressors, boilers, chillers, HVAC units, and facility infrastructure. Key duties include routine inspections, fuel management, equipment upkeep, and quick response to malfunctions to ensure smooth facility operations.

Qualified Staffing in Cartersville is currently seeking a Utility (Mechanical) Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Air Compressor Maintenance: Check and refill oil, clean/replace filters and drain traps, and test compressor and dryer operations.
2. NMP Recovery Maintenance: Monitor pump vibrations, clean strainers, lubricate motors, inspect tracing systems, eye showers, and replace fan belts.
3. A/C Tower Maintenance: Lubricate components and replace V-belts on towers and fans.
4. Steam Boiler Maintenance: Maintain water softeners, chemical lines, pumps, and gauges. Inspect/test LNG lines, blow-down valves, and heat transmitters; adjust fuel usage.
5. Hot Oil Boiler Maintenance: Test and inspect LNG lines, fans, and pumps; remove tank moisture; check and replace V-belts.
6. Chiller Maintenance: Test expansion lines, clean strainers, lubricate pumps and motors, and service cooling tower components.
7. BCU / BFU / FFU Maintenance: Check pressures and replace filters.
8. HVAC Maintenance: Lubricate fans, inspect sensors, clean strainers, maintain filters and steam traps, and adjust belts and air vents.
