Job summary

WSP is seeking a Utilities Lead in the Greater Toronto Area to shape the future of transit infrastructure. You will lead utilities planning, investigations, and relocations, guiding strategy and mentoring staff across major projects.

With 10+ years in utilities for large-scale infrastructure, you will oversee design coordination, engage stakeholders, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering projects that transform mobility in cities.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 10+ years of utilities investigation and design for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering transit/transportation projects with agencies (MTO, Metrolinx, TTC).
• Strong knowledge of Ontario’s regulatory framework for utilities and civil infrastructure.
• Experience with alternative delivery models (Design‑Build/Progressive Design‑Build).
• PMP certification and TPAP familiarity are strong assets.
• Demonstrated leadership guiding teams in a consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Integrate utilities work into multidisciplinary project schedules and delivery strategies.

• Mentor junior team members and foster technical excellence across project teams.
• Contribute to the delivery of transformative transit infrastructure in the GTA.

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 - $162,800
MB & ON: $112,100 - $154,400
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $111,000 - $147,400
