Job summary

Biscuits Leclerc Brockville plant is seeking a Utilities / Facilities maintenance technician to maintain boilers, HVAC, water systems and other utility equipment ensuring reliability and safety.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of maintenance experience, an Operating Engineer 3rd or 4th class or technical degree, strong communication, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance and utilities/facilities operation experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities for water and steam systems.
• Experience with computerized systems and good computer skills.
• Flexible to respond to on-call and emergency repairs outside normal shift.

Responsibilities

• Minimize downtime through collaboration with operations and maintenance teams.
• Develop and follow preventive maintenance programs and SOPs.
• Supervise equipment rebuilds and monitor quality control.
• Provide maintenance procedures and troubleshooting guidance for consistency and efficiency.
• Lead maintenance program development and work scheduling.
• Perform routine checks on HVAC, boilers, chilled water systems, and related equipment.
