Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. is seeking an experienced Benefits Administrator to manage US employee benefit programs and leave administration. The role oversees enrollments, eligibility changes, and annual open enrollment while maintaining accurate HRIS records and partnering with payroll.

You will work with providers and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective communication. Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years in US benefits administration, strong understanding of health and welfare

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–7 years of US benefits and leave administration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of US health/welfare benefits and leave compliance.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll interfaces.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Administer US employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, life and disability insurance, 401(k), and leave programs.
  • Manage benefit enrollments, eligibility changes, life events, terminations, and other employee status changes, ensuring accurate records across HRIS and vendor systems.
  • Support annual open enrollment, including planning, system testing, communications, and execution.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with benefit providers, consultants, and third-party administrators.
  • Partner with Payroll and HRIS to ensure accurate deductions, contributions, data, and system processes.
  • Administer employee leaves, including FMLA, medical, family, disability, and other statutory and company-sponsored leaves.
  • Support employees, managers, and HR teams with benefit and leave inquiries, resolving more complex issues as needed.
  • Monitor US federal, state, and local benefit and leave regulations and support compliance, audits, reporting, and required filings.
  • Analyze benefits and leave data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve programs and processes.
  • Support benchmarking, program enhancements, and total rewards initiatives.
  • Develop clear employee communications and resources to help employees understand and make the most of their benefits.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–7 years of experience administering US employee benefits and leave programs.
  • Strong knowledge of US health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, leave administration, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with HRIS, benefits administration systems, and payroll interfaces.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
WORK AUTHORIZATIONS AND TRAVEL;
  • 5-10% travel to the US.
