Job summary

Health Match BC is seeking a part-time Urologist for Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake, BC. The physician will provide full-scope general urology care with a focus on quality patient outcomes, under a fee-for-service compensation model and additional rural incentives.

Locum tenens are welcomed; Leadership development and relocation support are available through Interior Health/NAVIG8. Candidates with experience in reconstructive urology and continence management are preferred.

There is a population of approximately 35,000 in Williams Lake and surrounding areas with a total population of 62,000 for the Cariboo Regional District. Cariboo Memorial Hospital

Cariboo Memorial is under renovation with planned completion of 2026! Currently, CMH is a Level 2 Community Hospital in Williams Lake with 28 inpatient beds. CMH hospital offers ER, OR, Med-Surg, and Obstetrical units. Lab and diagnostic imaging and outpatient Hemodialysis Unit are operated on-site. The CMH redevelopment project includes an addition to the existing hospital as well as renovations to the existing facility. The addition will add 25 in-patient beds for a total of 53, a new emergency department and mental-health unit.

Practice Details

Cariboo Memorial Hospital is looking for a part-time Urologist. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care.

The candidate we seek will be competent with full scope of general urologic practice, and we will give additional preference to a candidate with experience in reconstructive urology and management of complex incontinence.
