Role Summary

A Sales Associate contributes to driving sales by providing a genuine and engaging experience to each customer.

Role Responsibilities

Brand Experience

• Acts as a brand ambassador, reflecting the company's values.
• Initiates conversations, shares advice, and product knowledge to interact with customers in a personalized manner.
• Utilizes technology to stay informed about company priorities and promotions both in-store and online; delivers a seamless omni-channel shopping experience using available tools (e.g., MPOS, POS, In-Store & Curbside Pickup).

Teamwork & Communication

• Contributes positively to the store environment by being respectful and helpful.
• Collaborates with peers and leadership, sharing ideas and supporting team needs.
• Demonstrates willingness to learn, adapt, and be flexible to change, trying new approaches as needed.

Visual & Business Operations

• Maintains Urban Outfitters’ visual standards and operational procedures, focusing on customer experience.
• Supports shipment processes to stay informed about new and existing products; contributes to omni order fulfillment.
• Adheres to safety standards, maintains inventory accuracy, reduces product loss, and follows company policies to support store profitability.
