Job summary

ABL Employment Inc. is seeking experienced meat production workers for a well-known meat company in Hamilton, ON. You will handle multiple steps across raw, cooked and smoked meats, including chicken, beef and pork, on a 7am–3pm shift (flexible end times).

The role is full time with temp-to-hire prospects. Pay starts at C$18/hr, with higher rates based on experience. Candidates must be able to lift over 50 lbs and perform physically demanding production tasks while adhering to HACCP and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in meat production is preferred.
• Able to lift more than 50lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Familiar with HACCP and food safety procedures.
• Willing to work on stuffing line and various production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate stuffing line and rack sticks of meat product.
• Portion meat (ribs, pork) into bins.
• Work in meat pumping area.
• Cut meat to prep for production.
• Assist in cold storage.
• Prepare racks of meat for smoke house cooking.
• Clean machines and tools.
• Move meat using buggies.
• Weigh and load meat into production buggies.
• Must meet physical demands.

**UPCOMING ROLE***

We are looking for experienced meat production employees for a well-known meat company in Hamilton, ON. You will be working with various raw/cooked/smoked meats including chicken, beef and pork!

Shift runs Monday to Friday 7am-3pm (please be flexible as the end times vary day to day)

Pay $18/hr+ depending on experience.

Full time, temp to hire position!

Your duties will include:

The duties and responsibilities will include a variety of production tasks while following HACCP and operational practices related to the area.

• Working on stuffing line racking sticks of meat product.
• Portioning various meet (ribs, pork) in bins
• Working in meat pumping area
• Cutting of meat to prep for production
• Work in cold storage
• Prep racks of meat for smoke house cooking
• General cleaning of machines, tools
• Pushing/Pulling buggies of meat to required areas.
• Weighing and loading meat into production buggies.
• Must be able to handle the physical demands of the role.

This role can be physically demanding at times, so applicants must be comfortable with lifting more than 50lbs and pushing/pulling throughout shift.
