Job summary

Aspira Wildpine retirement Living, under Sienna Senior Living, seeks an Unregulated Care Provider to support residents with daily living in a fast‑paced home. You will help with health, safety and well‑being, building relationships and contributing to a caring community where every resident feels at home.

You will work closely with the wellness team, maintain records, administer medications as prescribed, and participate in ongoing training to ensure high standards of care for Ontario seniors.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of Personal Service Worker certificate program
  • Successful completion of Medication Administration training program provided on site
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
  • Current CPR training
  • Experience working with seniors
  • Must pass Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care to residents to support health and well‑being
  • Maintain resident records and adhere to policies and documentation requirements
  • Administer medications as prescribed and report changes to the Wellness Director
  • Ensure a clean, safe environment following infection control principles

Week one: Friday: 7am-3pm, Tuesday: 7am-3pm

Week two: Saturday: 7am-3pm, Sunday: 7am-3pm

As an Unregulated Care Provider, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care that supports residents’ health, safety, and overall well-being. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

  • Providing guidance to the Guest Attendants to ensure that care assignments are completed and that changes in residents’ needs are reported to the Director of Wellness
  • Maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents utilizing infection control principles
  • Performing other duties as assigned
What you need to know:
  • Successful completion of Personal Service Worker certificate program
  • Successful completion of Medication Administration training program provided on site and successful ongoing quarterly evaluation of competencies
  • Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team
  • Current CPR training
  • Experience working with seniors and knowledge of the aging process
  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check
  • You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
  • You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Sienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this position
