Job summary

Starlink Aviation, based in Dorval, Quebec, is seeking an aircraft maintenance technician to perform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls on the fleet under supervision. You will ensure compliance with maintenance policy and report discrepancies to coordinators.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, proficiency with diagnostic tools and computers, and eligibility for RAIC. French/English communication is needed; a Class 5 license and Canadian status are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with computers and diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operations.
• Perform tasks in accordance with aircraft specifications and maintenance manuals.
• Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status.
• Eligible to obtain a RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card).
• Class 5 driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Your Role

Under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance, your role will consist of performing routine maintenance tasks scheduled by your coordinator.

Your responsibilities

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, overhauls, and modifications on the aircraft, components, and equipment within the fleet.
• Comply with the maintenance procedures and standards established in the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM).
• Identify and report any discrepancies or outstanding work to Maintenance Coordinators, including through the “carry-over” process.
