Job summary

A leading aviation services company based in Gravenhurst is looking for an experienced Avionics Technician. The role involves performing avionics activities on business aircraft, ensuring documentation is accurate, and leading inspections. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of related experience and a valid Transport Canada E license. Qualifications

• Five (5) years of relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all avionics activities as contracted by the customer.

Responsibilities

• French: Exécuter efficacement toutes activités d’entretien des avions commerciaux sur demande dans le hangar et sur la rampe;
• French: S’assurer que tous les documents d’aéronefs soient dûment complétés;
• French: S’assurer que chacune des composantes installées sur les aéronefs soit certifiée;
• French: S’acquitter des tâches et des responsabilités décrites dans le Manuel de contrôle du service d’entretien et s’assurer de se conformer aux règlements standards de Transport Canada;
• French: Participer à des cours de formation tel qu’assignés par la direction;
• French: Respecter la politique SMS (Safety Management System);
• French: Maintenir et assurer un environnement de travail propre et sécuritaire en tout temps;
• French: Assister dans toutes autres tâches connexes telles qu’assignées par le superviseur.

• English: Perform and ensure proper completion of all avionics activities as contracted by the customer, both in the hangar and on the ramp
• English: Act as lead on major inspections and modifications of aircraft projects and oversee work by junior technicians and/or apprentices
• English: Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate
• English: Ensure all components installed on aircraft are properly certified
• English: Carry out duties per the appropriate avionics control manual and ensure conformity to Transport Canada regulatory standards
• English: Attend training courses as directed by company management
• English: Adhere to the Safety Management System Policy
• English: Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times

Qualifications and Skills

• French: Licence valide de Transport Canada de catégorie M2;
• French: Minimum de cinq (5) années d'expérience pertinente;
