General Accountabilities:

• Assist Senior Engineering Staff with Standards Design work related to Protection, Controls, and Networks for the Power system.

This job offers professional development opportunities, including:

• Gaining a good understanding of Station Layout, Protection, Control, and Metering of the Power System.
• Learning about SCADA automation, LAN Network, and cybersecurity in the power system.
• Enhancing communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Fundamentals of Power Systems, Electrical Circuits, Physics, and High Voltage Engineering.

Selection Criteria:

• Discipline: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Academic Level: Completed 3rd year.
• Other requirements: The successful candidate must submit a Personal Risk Assessment from the Metropolitan Toronto Police.
