Job summary

Living Sky School Division is seeking a temporary part-time Educational Assistant at Unity Public School to support student learning in a rural, community-focused setting. The role runs immediately through June 30, 2027 at 0.5 FTE, contributing to engaging activities and small-group instruction.

The successful candidate will assist with core subjects, facilitate teacher-planned lessons, and help promote engagement and student success.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one year relevant childcare experience.
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent would be considered an asset.

This posting is for a Temporary Part-Time .50FTE Educational Assistant Position at Unity Public School, commencing immediately and ending June 30, 2027. Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students.The successful applicant will support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom. Basic knowledge of Grade 5-9 math concepts and the ability to independently facilitate teacher-planned lessons/activities is an asset.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
