Job summary

Living Sky School Division is seeking an Educational Assistant at Unity Composite High School to support student learning in a collaborative, self-managed team environment.

The position is a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) contract commencing immediately with a June 30, 2027 end date. The role emphasizes patience, planning, reliability, and strong communication within a team and with students.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one year of childcare experience.
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker, or equivalent program would be considered an asset.

• Assist with supervising and supporting students in a Grades 7–12 setting.

This posting is for a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant Position (1.0 FTE) at Unity Composite High School, commencing immediately with a contract end date of June 30, 2027. Hours of work are 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
