Job summary

The University of Alberta's Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA) is seeking a Labour Relations Officer. You will support NASA members through interpreting and applying the Collective Agreement, guidance through workplace challenges and disputes, and assisting with disability management and job evaluation.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle for work-related travel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Google Suite, or equivalent.
• 5 years of directly-related work experience or the equivalent combined experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply the Collective Agreement.
• Provide guidance through workplace challenges and disputes.
• Assist with disability management and job evaluation.
• Support collective bargaining efforts and portfolio ownership.
• Collaborate with a supportive team to meet NASA members’ needs.
