Our Underwriting Managers customize solutions for our commercial clients as well as lead and develop a team of underwriters. They are people-centric leaders who truly care about the development of their teams and invest in their career growth. They will be a part of leading the execution of the operational business plan and rate adequacy, risk selection, data quality, and service levels. They are also responsible for the achievement of regional goals for profitability and the production of desirable business.

They are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our stakeholders, including our Underwriters and our Commercial Insurance Sales team. They also pay attention to the smallest of details, and work closely with our Actuarial and Claims Departments.

If you are great at:

• Commercial Underwriting, with Commercial Auto and P&C being a focus

• Responsible for the successful evaluation, documentation, selection, negotiation, and pricing, for assigned policies

• Sales & Negotiation

• Develop and maintain a professional relationship with our Sales team

• Coaching & Mentoring

• Operation leadership

If you have:

• 10+ years of Underwriting experience

• Minimum 3 years leadership experience

• Experience leading or mentoring a team

• Completed, or pursuing your CIP, FCIP, or RPLU designations

• Strong customer service background
