The Role

We're looking for a sharp, detail-driven Underwriter to assess credit risk across our deal flow. You'll analyse financials, apply credit policy, and work closely with sales, ops, and credit to help move good deals fast — and stop bad ones faster. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, commercial instinct, and pace are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite deals ranging from $25K - $1.5M
• Analyse financials, bank data, and open banking feeds to assess creditworthiness
• Apply credit risk policies accurately and flag sensible exceptions for review
• Support offer structuring that balances speed, risk, and commercial value
• Work closely with the sales team to support fast decisions and clean execution
• Escalate edge cases and complex scenarios to senior underwriters or credit leadership
• Maintain accurate underwriting documentation and CRM records
• Contribute insight and feedback to help refine credit policy over time
