Job summary

Trillium Rail Partners is seeking a Tunnel Fit‑Out Construction Lead to head the installation and integration of tunnel systems within a major rail project in the Greater Toronto Area. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules, and drive safe, compliant execution in a complex design‑build environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, underground construction expertise, and collaboration with civil, track, systems, and operations teams to ensure readiness for revenue service

Qualifications

• Experience in tunnel construction or underground infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership and coordination in safety-critical underground environments.
• Experience in design-build or P3 project environments is highly desirable.
• Experience managing unionized construction workforces is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate tunnel fit-out activities including systems installation and finishes.
• Oversee day-to-day tunnel construction to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Coordinate fit-out interfaces between civil, track, systems, and operations teams.
• Support integration of tunnel systems with stations and emergency egress infrastructure.
• Ensure safety, QA/QC inspections, and regulatory compliance of tunnel works.
• Coordinate with design teams on constructability and field changes.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Monitor progress, risks, and reporting for tunnel fit-out scopes.
