West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. is seeking a Miner 3 - Scoop Operator to join its underground team in Northwestern Ontario. The role focuses on safe operation of LHD equipment, development and production support, and adherence to mine plans and engineering specs.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of underground hard rock mining experience, strong safety discipline, and good communication. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and a generous bonus potential based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of underground hard rock mining experience, preferably as a Scoop Operator.
• Knowledge of underground mining methods, ground control, and mine safety procedures.
• Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence with high housekeeping standards.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Physically fit for demanding underground work.

Responsibilities

• Operate Load-Haul-Dump (LHD) equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance.
• Muck and transport ore and waste to dumping locations.
• Set up remote mucking systems and backfill operations.
• Install and maintain underground services and infrastructure.
• Operate ore chutes or conveyors and assist with drilling.
• Support safety and production targets.
