Evolution Mining is seeking a Superintendent- Mining at Red Lake, Ontario, to lead underground operations with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and budget adherence. The role requires 10+ years in mining with at least 5 in supervision, and a Mine Engineering degree or equivalent experience.

Schedule is 5/2/4/3, residential site with no FIFO. You will provide strategic direction, optimize methods, ensure compliance with laws, manage contractors, and drive production while maintaining a safe,

Qualifications

• 10 years in mining with minimum 5 years in supervision.
• Mine Engineering degree or equivalent underground mining leadership experience.
• Strong budgeting and strategic planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for underground operations.
• Develop and manage annual Mine department goals and budgets.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance and environmental objectives.
• Lead implementation of best practices, equipment, and techniques.
• Oversee projects and provide technical support for multiple initiatives.
• Coordinate with contractors and other departments; manage performance.
• Plan short/long term ore removal with cost-effective methods.
