Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Team Lead – Emergency Response Officers at Red Lake, Ontario. You will lead and train EROs, maintain readiness, and coordinate both underground and surface emergency response efforts.

With 8–10 years in mining and 5+ years in emergency response, you will drive planning, drills and incident management, while ensuring OH&S compliance and collaboration with local agencies. A competitive salary and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of mining industry experience in underground hard-rock mining.
• Minimum 5 years of emergency response/ERT experience.
• Strong emergency response, rescue and underground mining knowledge.
• Proven leadership, supervision and coaching abilities.
• Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and Ontario OH&S knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Emergency Response Officers and coordinate RLO underground and surface ERTs.
• Maintain emergency response readiness and ensure appropriate personnel, equipment and capabilities are available.
• Coordinate emergency response activities during incidents and support the site emergency management/incident command structure.
• Maintain effective relationships with Ontario Mine Rescue and local emergency response agencies.
• Develop, maintain and periodically review emergency response plans, procedures and risk assessments.
• Plan and execute emergency response drills and exercises; implement corrective actions.
