Job summary

Evolution Mining Red Lake Operation in Northwestern Ontario comprises three underground mines and two processing plants on a single site. The Supervisor Mining role will recruit for an existing vacancy and oversee a 12-hour day roster (14/14).

The position offers a competitive salary with bonus potential and future growth within the company. Eligible candidates may be based residentially in Red Lake or fly-in/fly-out; relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Graduation Diploma required.
• Ontario Basic Hard Rock Miner Certificate (U/G Common Core) required.
• Ontario Supervisor Common Core Program required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire mining crew to safely execute mining plans.
• Prioritize work heads to maintain a safe environment.
• Chair safety and production meetings.
• Meet daily, weekly and monthly production targets.
• Retrieve, analyze and track relevant data.
• Develop daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders.
• Recognize impact of day-to-day work on the 3-month plan.
• Follow production and safety charts and trends.
