- Experience operating long-hole drilling equipment in underground mining.
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Follow safe working practices and site safety guidelines.
- Underground drill site setup and preparation.
- Scaling and pre-operation inspection.
- Inserting and pulling drill rods.
- Perform drilling per long hole design to specs.
- Carry out operational maintenance on drilling equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily drill reports and inventory logs.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Commit to training and competency development.
