REDPATH MINING is seeking a Jumbo Operator in Chapleau, ON, to safely set up and operate boom jumbos for drilling and blasting. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience with jumbo machines and 1 year on a scoop. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Offered salary ranges from $78,000 to $128,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits including health and dental. The position involves a rotation of 7 days on and 7 days off, emphasizing safety compliance and effective teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Jumbo.
• 1 year of experience on a scoop.
• 1 year of experience installing services.
• 1 year of experience loading and blasting rounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a single or multiple boom jumbo.
• Check the working area for misfires.
• Conduct face prep prior to drilling rounds.
• Perform minor repairs on equipment.
• Maintain working area and equipment clean.
