A leading mining services company in Southern Saskatchewan seeks an experienced Electrical Underground Maintenance Planner. This full-time role involves planning and coordinating maintenance activities while adhering to safety practices. Candidates should possess a Journeyperson Certificate or equivalent education, along with experience in the mining industry. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in maintenance and production in the industrial/mining industry.
Experience with 5KV and 13.8KV systems preferred.
Knowledge of time and attendance systems, maintenance monitoring, and management systems.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and plan electrical maintenance activities across departments.
Prepare and track work packages for projects.
Conduct risk assessments and safety audits.
Manage inventory levels and source necessary parts.
Troubleshoot operational problems in collaboration with the operations team.
Oversee asset and contractor management programs.
Ensure all work is conducted in alignment with safety standards.
Skills
Strong Electrical aptitude
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive management of tight deadlines
