Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• Sufficient language skills, literacy and numeracy.
• 2+ years of directly related experience.
• Fitness for Duty program standards.
• Common Core (Records need to be submitted).

Responsibilities

• Safety is paramount; follow policies, procedures and laws at all times.
• Perform duties safely and protect equipment and coworkers.
• Maintain site equipment and tools for optimum life.
• Train new Driller Assistants in a safe environment.
• Be physically fit for work and able to perform tasks.
• Work under the supervision of a driller or field supervisor.
• Apply EHS policies and conduct risk control.
• Provide basic maintenance, measurements and fuel/logistics tasks.
• Operate non-drilling equipment as required.
• Keep accurate drill reports and inventory logs.
• Contribute to safe workplace relationships; mentor others.
