Magna Mining Inc. is expanding its underground development teams at McCreedy West and Levack mines in Sudbury, Ontario. We’re seeking Development Miners with at least 6 months of underground experience, who are safety-focused and able to operate equipment such as jumbo drills and MacLean bolting rigs.

You will support drilling, ground support installation, mucking, and routine inspections while following all safety procedures and collaborating with the team to improve performance and processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core completed.
• Minimum 6 months underground mining experience.
• Experience in at least one underground development area.

Responsabilités

Our Underground Mining Teams Are Growing!

Magna Mining is growing, and we're looking for Development Miners to join our underground teams at McCreedy West Mine and Levack Mine!

If you have underground development mining experience, are safety-focused, and want to be part of a growing mining company, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Operate underground development mining equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  
• Support underground development activities, including drilling, ground support installation, and mucking, depending on your experience and assigned role.
  
• Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and established mining procedures.
  
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
  
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to continually improve performance and safe work practices.
  
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving underground development processes.
  
• Perform other duties as required to support underground development operations.
  

Requirements

Who We’re Looking For

You might be a great fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Have completed the Basic Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core.
  
• Have a minimum of 6 months of underground mining experience .
  
• Have experience in at least one area of underground development , such as jumbo operation, MacLean bolting, or rehabilitation.
  
• Understand underground development practices and safe operating procedures.
  
• Are safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in an underground mining environment.
  
• Work well with others and contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace.
