Job summary

Lake Shore Gold in Timmins, Ontario is seeking Construction Miners to join our teams at the Timmins West Mine and Bell Creek Mine on a 5-5-4, 10-hour dayshift schedule. This is a full-time opportunity requiring relocation to the Timmins area.

As a key member of our underground operations, you will bring ground support, install shotcrete walls, maintain ventilation and pumping systems, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous underground mining experience required.
• Must operate a jackleg and stopper.
• Experience with concrete work, timbering, ground support, vent doors, walls, refuge stations, and welding would be considered an asset.
• Be committed to safety.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Bring ground support to underground storages and install paste lines.
• Install shotcrete walls and maintain ventilation systems.
• Maintain underground pumps and pumping systems; monitor pipelines.
• Ensure safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
