Hiring Unit: Anatomy and Cell Biology

Course Title and Course Number: INDS 114 PROSEC

Estimated Number of Positions: 3

Total Hours of Work per Term: 6

Position Summary: Undergraduate Course Assistants will assist first year medical and dental students in anatomy dissections (4 hours). Undergraduate Course Assistants should demonstrate an ability to teach human anatomy in the anatomy lab and be able to facilitate student dissections of the abdomen. Undergraduate Course Assistants will also participate in the supervision and facilitation of anatomy review time (2 hours).

Availability is required on the following dates and times:

• February 2nd (Tuesday): 12:30 - 2:30 pm
• February 9th (Tuesday): 12:30 - 2:30 pm
• February 17th (Wednesday): 12:30 - 2:30 pm

Qualifications:

• Must have previous laboratory experience in human anatomy on topics relevant to the course description.
• Strong knowledge of abdominal anatomy, and good communication skills are essential.
• Effective communication skills in English are essential.
• Communication in French is an asset.
